we live on or at lake fork
bass nuts are out there...maybe not all day
but they are tossing a line
i wanted to go to the big ramp and watch the frozen dead come back to port, but our street is waaaay to slick to even try and drive

We do ice fishing up here. You have a little shack (or if you’re a little wealthier, one of those fancy schmancy ice fishing RV things). Some of the best fish come out of the bottom of the lakes up here in the winter.

Crazy is when people go to football games in shorts wearing jackets when temps are below freezing........I mean come on the correct attire is shorts and a sleeveless.......bunch of wimps
There were always 2 local people at the games wearing what I described before and others looked at them like they're nuts for not having pants on and those 2 (1's w/ jackets & shorts) looked at me like I'm crazy. I've known those 2 crazies my whole life, 1 was a grade behind me in school and the other 4 grades ahead.

I’m still wearing shorts and it’s been about 2 degrees out. I used to work in this stuff for 5 years. I also had another job where I was placed outside a few times because I have enough insulation on my bones. Personally let them go enjoy themselves. Not like they’re going protesting about our favorite hobby.
