Not very funny but I have a great doctor’s office story…….
I had been going to the same doctor for 10 years, I was 5 minutes late for an appointment and the lady at the desk said I was going to have to reschedule……
I asked for being 5 minutes late?
She looked at me and said we are very busy and you can’t be late…..
Two weeks later I showed up for my rescheduled appointment 10 minutes early….. 5 minutes after my rescheduled appointment I was still waiting to see the doctor so I went to the desk and said; since you’re 5 minutes late past my appointment to see the doctor and I’m very busy I’m going to have to reschedule…….
You should have seen the look on her face, she wouldn’t reschedule me so I walked out.
It was the same woman that had me reschedule the day I was 5 minutes late.
10 minutes to drive home and 5 minutes later I received a phone call from the doctors office, it was my doctor….
He asked me what happened?
I explained the first incident and the second……
He asked me if I could come back.
I did.
I was met at the door by the doctor who took me directly back for my appointment.
After my appointment he walked me out to the front desk and told the lady to apologize to me, I never saw her in the office again.
