Daffy Zone…..

There was a time when Crown Vics had a metal tab on the underbody near the gas tank. If rear ended hard enough, the metal tab could poke a hole in the gas tank and cause a fire. I don't know if I would call it an explosion. Being rear ended on a traffic stop was and still is a rear problem for police vehicles. Several officers at mt department went out on disability due to being hit from the rear. I favor SUV's or trucks for police because the energy tends to go under the vehicle but still can kill you. Move Over Laws grew out of cruisers and officers being hit a scenes, but I still see Adam Henry's blowing past with little regard.
Yeah I like 4x4's & such for patrol. I had a crew cab 4x4 pickup. But I grew up 'riding shotgun' with my dad in his car (he was the 1st Gary, IN cop to get a take-home car because my Grandpa owned a gas station & my dad did his own maintenance off-duty). So for me, the 'natural' ride for a cop has been and always will be, in my mind, a car with a V8 engine & traditional police package.
Edit: I think by the time I started working for campus police, that tab issue was resolved. But we had Crown Vics, so it was irrelevant to my and most other departments in NW Indiana.

What gets me is when I'm trying to find a SAFE place for me and the leo so neither of us will be in harms way yet when I finally find a safe place to pull off the toad I get scolded by them. They make a remark that I'm trying to evade. I'm going 20mph so that's ridiculous on that assumption! I do say what my intentions were about me nit pulling off immediately. Some actually care less? Like wtf, seriously!

Chuck Norris Pointing Finger.png

You know what's amazing? Chuck Norris is 85 years old, the picture of great health (just like Trump)!
Word has it his longevity is due to his martial arts skills. The Grim Reaper is afraid to confront Chuck
because he'd get his butt whup'ed with a roundhouse kick, and Chuck disarms him and reaps the Reaper!!
