I did my old ford too. 1st was too low to take off in. it had a 460.Granny gear.. start in 2nd gear unless a max heavy load ..

Close… a few yrs youngerYou look about 12-14 maybe in those pictures. And they would have to have been taken a few years after 1977, so that makes me a few years older. But I can promise you my dad worked me like a rented mule when I was 12-14.

Yeh, but in those days we didn't really care too awfully much about the price of gas. I'm thinkin' back to about the early 70's when gas was.24-.25 cents per gallon.
