Well the front mounts are for a plow. And the switches prolly to control it. Bu, bu, but I'm not a northerner.

Granny gear.. start in 2nd gear unless a max heavy load ..

I did my old ford too. 1st was too low to take off in. it had a 460.

You look about 12-14 maybe in those pictures. And they would have to have been taken a few years after 1977, so that makes me a few years older. But I can promise you my dad worked me like a rented mule when I was 12-14.
Edit: But it was prolly good for both of us!!!!

Truck still gets 9mpg… highway or city = 9 .. yep gas guzzler
Needs lead substitute as well per tank

Yeh, but in those days we didn't really care too awfully much about the price of gas. I'm thinkin' back to about the early 70's when gas was.24-.25 cents per gallon. And then when a local gas war broke out it would sometimes drop to a dime.

Lucky you! My dad put me to work at 7! I said it was hard to push; he told me I'd get muscles that way.
5 years later and I had my own mowing & small engine repair biz.

When I was 8, he taught me how to shoot. Revolver? S&W Model 19.
