I remember this car!! My family owned one. Ford LTD. My dad had an LTD squad car at one point. Another time, he had a Gran Torino interceptor. When I was older, I used to do ride-alongs (literally riding shotgun) when he went from being a street cop (Gary Indiana) to a Special Agent (CSXRR). That was right before I signed on with campus police at Indiana U.
Here's me, in my dad's squad car, begging him to teach me how to drive... Mind you, I 'stole' my mom's Ford at the age of 5 and drove it to the end of the block. She freaked out so bad, I never wanted to go for a joyride ever again!!

Well you got me beat.
I was about 13 when me Mun was riding our horse, I knew where she kept her purse with the VW keys.
It was a 1966, 1300cc, 4 speed no power but we all had fun running around the back roads while living at Fort Benning GA.
The funny part is, after the VW got handed down to my older brother than he got a 1969 big block charger, I got the VW as mine and complete with dents on the whole vehicle.
