Oh if you want pricey, try .380 or 10MM. .380 is becoming less popular over time and for the last 20 years I've watched prices go up and never down. It's so bad now that the only way I'll buy .380 is in bulk online, and only when there's a really good deal on the stuff. Even so, I'm not abandoning this caliber.

10MM suffers from the opposite, IMHO. It's become just popular enough that the price is high because of demand, but the production isn't big enough to offer economy of scale like 9mm. Too many limp-wristed faots out there, it seems, think 10MM is too powerful!
