this reminds me if the mid 1970s yes i am aged
we moved to rockwall, we lived in a modest home etc
rockwall had a perrys discount store, one brookshires and ace hardware.... that was it
welll one day in 77 walmart built a nice sized store near the highway
rockwall is and was filled with SNOBS , old rockwall ( born there, snobs, looked own on any new poeple) , dallas snobs, and then the rest of us middle income poor bastards that had to wear the same coat 2 or 3 winters in a row... OHHH the audactiy
parents had buicks or old chevy work vansso if you were at walmart and one the other two snob groups saw you see them, they would quickly turn and walk the other way,,,, heaven forbid they bee seen at a walmart
