Mercurochrome was a antiseptic replacement for Iodine which was extremely painful and you would rather take the scrape pain.

The real issue with Mercurochrome is it is toxic as it is made with Mercury (look at the name )but less painful than Iodine.

They have always lied to all of us for a very long time
