Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/active-assailant-event/.

One thing I taught my granddaughters is to turn the volume off on there phone completely, use text to call for help or give info. All the states that I have lived in past years have that as a best way so as not to give up your hiding place. My granddaughters live in a city that is high crime

If a picture is worth 1,000 words then a meme is worth an entire debate.

Gun-free zones are facially unconstitutional because it is a prior restraint on an unenumerated Right. Imagine walking down the street wearing a 'Christ is Lord' t-shirt, and you encounter an official sign that says "Religion-free Zone"! Same exact thing.

With all due respect, I almost stopped reading when I saw the Sticky holster. Still and all, good overall advice (except probably don't use a Sticky holster when you carry).
I don't know why Sticky is a brand you don't like, but I use something similar for my backup North American .380 Guardian. Grov-Tec makes several sizes for pocket pistols; mine is a #2. It has a non-slip band around the middle, as shown. I am of the strict belief that 2 is 1, and one is none.

Addendum: The Hogue grip you see here was trimmed to fit this mouse gun perfectly; it was the closest fit I could find in the store. Flush-fit hammer, DAO action, the tiny scratches on the polished slide testify to its regular use over the last 25 years.

OG,

Feels kind of nostalgic to pocket my M&P 340 and a Speed Strip or two! Most of the time it’s the Hellcat, though. I like the extra capacity and even with the 13-round mag, it carries well in pocket.

My next pistol is gonna be S&W's M&P Bodyguard 2.0, because it has a 12-round magazine and is not really much larger than my old North American, which only holds 6 rounds. The extendo mag holds 10 but it's a jam-o-matic that I only use on the range.
S&W has an untarnished reputation for quality, and my first handgun was a Model 19 (My dad's service revolver when he was a Gary Indiana cop). I learned to shoot with it, and it eventually was my own duty revolver. By the time I was working for campus police while taking classes, the big switch eventually happened and the department got Sig P226's. Gary police were using the Ruger P89, and not long after that I went into the military and was introduced to the Beretta 92FS.

You can take it to the bank that if I'm there, it's not a gun-free zone... Peaceful, not harmless!
