Mr. Untactical,With all due respect, I almost stopped reading when I saw the Sticky holster. Still and all, good overall advice (except probably don't use a Sticky holster when you carry).
I do the same carrying my J-frame in my pockets of my shorts.Mr. Untactical,
I only pocket carry with the Sticky. Florida is shorts and t-shirt wear most of the year. I like the security of pocket carry in well-made shorts like 5.11’s.

I don't know why Sticky is a brand you don't like, but I use something similar for my backup North American .380 Guardian. Grov-Tec makes several sizes for pocket pistols; mine is a #2. It has a non-slip band around the middle, as shown. I am of the strict belief that 2 is 1, and one is none. With all due respect, I almost stopped reading when I saw the Sticky holster. My other EDC is my VP9SK, that I sometimes pocket carry in a sticky holster also.OG,
Feels kind of nostalgic to pocket my M&P 340 and a Speed Strip or two! Most of the time it’s the Hellcat, though. I like the extra capacity and even with the 13-round mag, it carries well in pocket.

My next pistol is gonna be S&W's M&P Bodyguard 2.0, because it has a 12-round magazine and is not really much larger than my old North American, which only holds 6 rounds. The extendo mag holds 10 but it's a jam-o-matic that I only use on the range.OG,
