Slightly off topic, one should never get bumper-to-bumper with the vehicle ahead of you when stopped. Always allow one half vehicle length ahead, in case you want/need to drive away. You'll thank me one day. . .
As a former LEO, I was fed too many BS lies, and I'll not lay any on my current brethren, especially just so my call may move up the queue. For me, fear has never played a role in my decisions to be truthful.
Had a sister Officer who was followed home and ended up shot in a gunfight. They do not like us. Be spatially aware. Had some clown, back in the 70s, following me and twice try to run me off of the freeway in L.A. third time I displayed my ,38 as he headed my way and he took off. Be aware and be armed!.!!
