Do you still trust SIG?

There's absolutely no need for you to sell your perfectly fine 229. But when it comes time to buy a new SD handgun, would the current issue make you veer away from the Sig case at the LGS?

I’m nearing 70, and never owned a Sig. I have always been a S&W guy. After watching the P320 issue, I’d never own any Sig.

I’ve had a West German P220 for around 30 years and a 938 since they first came out. Both have been absolutely outstanding. My son’s 225 is also a keeper. New plastic striker guns? Hard pass for me

i guess you could say the same about the m/p's.............i have several and 0 issue from day 1...............well not totally correct.............i have their 5.7x28 that locked the barrel closed.........i believe the issue was mine and it's been running fine since (didn't require sending it back).

I would trust any of the hammer fired Sigs (P229, P220, P226, etc.) and perhaps the P365 (after all, I did have four of them at one time), however, as a matter of principle, I will not buy any more Sigs based on how they’ve responded to the P320 debacle and how they treated LE. And I’ll never buy/carry another P320.

I have other posts here that explain my position in more detail and the fact I dumped those 4 P365s, along with 3 P320s and a P229 - I just didn’t want any Sigs in my house (though they already had my money).

YUP. Then never owned one or a Glock, SA hellcat, EC9, etc. Did carry a M&P on duty, it was issued, yawn. I would even buy a P320 if it was a good deal but it would have to be a real good deal. Not because it is a P320 but its a bottom feeder, recycled Tupperware, striker fired, ugly as homemade sin...........

I’ve owned 320’s.

I’d have no worries about owning one again…but I’m pretty much set with the VP9 as a striker pistol.

May get a M17, just to go with my M9, M11, and M1911 & A1, though.

Never had a Sig. Never really was interested in them. One of those bad ass Legions like Simon and Killer have look nice. If I was going to buy one though it would definitely be the one everyone is bitching about. Just on principle.

I'm not a female cop or mildly mentally incognizant so I figure I'll be ok.

Ok, ready for this……I sold all my Sig pistols and some of my Glocks, and my Colts, no hell didn’t freeze over, I just kept the guns I actually use plus I needed some cash for all my medical bills…..

I owned a few P320's, even carried a few for a while, and I really liked them. I ended up getting rid of them when the lawsuits came back into the picture. My confidence in carrying them was lost.

My P226 X5 Legion is the BEST handgun I own. My P365 is in my pocket EVERY DAY. Couldn't care less about the 320... and the rifles they've launched the last few years are pretty impressive (except for the prices).

Two of my EDC guns are still a Sig Sauer.

I own two P320 pistols, have never experienced any issue with either one.
