Geissele SSA-E or TriggerTech Diamond

Musashi

Professional
Now that I’ve decided to make my LWRCI 16 a DMR, I have found the existing trigger at 6# lacking. Thinking of either trigger listed in title. I like the adjustability of the Triggertech with it’s “1911” action. And the Geissele speaks for itself but is not adjustable. A lighter pull trigger is what I am after and either will work I’m sure. But I am looking for some input. Fire away and thanks.

I’ve got a ssa-x lighting on the geissele rifle which is perfect but wondering about the lighter pull ssa-e. I have a triggertech special on the bolt and it is excellent but we’re talking AR here

TTIS the easy button for install. I have 1 G trigger and it's ok to me, but I Timney's that are better. Single stage or 2 stage? TT Singles are what I have 3 of and prices were from (bought on sale) $149-229. Check primary arms and midsouth shooters (maybe Brownells and midway) as they did have a sale. Not sure if any still are?

I put the Giessle G2S in my LWRC and find it quite the improvement and it’s a bit less expensive than SSA and the likes. But the Giessle Triggers are hard to beat the next one is the Larue MBT I believe.

for any that have posted about their triggers, are any 2-stage? i have yet to own any as several i own are adjustable down to 3/4-1.5# depending on makes.

also have some cmc triggers (including tt, timney, elfman) that are a set weight of 2.5, 3 and 3.5# in single stage. all are the "cassette" type except for the g trigger.

I'm a big fan of the $100 Hiperfire EDTs. Particularly the one with the complex bow. Designated Marksman I think. With the 4lb spring they end up breaking closer to 3lbs after you abuse them for awhile.

Have the SSA-E in a couple guns.
Bought both as Blems, never found what was blemmed on either. Very nice triggers.
All my others have the BCM mil-spec trigger.

Having been in a few firefights in the military, I can promise you you'll never care about the trigger pull as long as your guns going bang .... Unless your doing the competition thing, it's inconsequential
