My uncle bought one a few months ago. He loves it! After putting a couple hundred rounds through it, he decided to make it his EDC. I personally don't care much for the caliber and would only consider carrying it as a backup versus a primary EDC. But nothing but great remarks from him. The only warning is he bought some aftermarket magazines. They didn't "work worth beans" as he put it. He ended up buying a few factory magazines directly from EAA and said they work perfectly.

Well, this gun is a Beretta clone…..so I would think the mags would work

i had the Girsan clone to the 92 FS, and my Beretta mags worked in that.

In the mid ‘70s, FN-Herstal designer Leon Hubert (hu.BARE) designed the thoroughly modern, and thoroughly double-action, BDA .380—aka, the FN 140DA. FN didn't have the production capacity at the time so...
FN outsourced production of the original design to Beretta and Beretta reciprocated by making the BDA .380 for Browning/FN, which Beretta then spawned the Beretta Cheetah series of guns.
The “Belg-talian” .380 saw some degree of law-enforcement service in Europe during the ‘70s and ‘80s.
And since the Turks like to copy things after patents expire, the Girsan M14 is a spin-off.

Sorry, the Beretta mags do work. I have three for ours.
Personally we have never experienced issues with ProMags. They work fine in our Caniks and S&Ws we have them for.
If you're going to use magazine availability as your reason to not get one, that's your decision.

There are magazines available that work. Your post made it sound like you aren't willing to run Beretta or ProMag. That should make your decision easy.
The pistol is fine. Well made, runs well. Mags are out there but, like too many other pistols, they aren't exactly inexpensive or readily available.

I sorry I would run beretta mags anytime they are mec gar mags so does the beretta cheetah 84 fit the MC14?

I must be missing something here....... Why not just buy factory mags? They are plentiful and aren't over priced.

He got them on sale from Optics Planet for $32.00 each. I just checked and not only are they not on sale any longer (more expensive than EAA directly), they are on backorder. He also got a couple from Tilden as well. Under $40 each for EAA factory 10 rounders. But on backorder as well. Sorry I couldn't help you. When you do find them in stock, and if you have a friend outside of CA, well I'm sure you can complete that sentence!
