Good new, really!

A couple of quotes from Justice Kagen from the opinion:

Mexico “does not pinpoint ... any specific criminal transactions that the defendants (allegedly) assisted” in to prove that the companies aided and abetted the cartels, Justice Elena Kagan wrote in the court’s opinion, arguing the government’s case is instead based on “general” accusations that aren’t enough to prove aiding and abetting.

“It is far from clear” that gun companies simply selling firearms to known cartel arms dealers could ever constitute aiding and abetting, Kagan argued, and Mexico’s arguments are too general to sufficiently prove its case, noting the government “does not confront that the manufacturers do not directly supply any dealers, and its complaint does not name alleged bad-apple dealers or provide grounds for thinking that anyone up the supply chain often acquires that information.”

Well that’s going even farther than blaming the gun for shooting. It’s those that made the guns fault 😂. Need to sue McDonald for making them fries so dang tasty!!!

It's a continuation of the Fast and Furious boondoggle. Mexican cartels don't get their weapons from Joe and Josephine smuggling in weapons in onesies and twosies as was alleged at the time.
- Cartels like any other organization buy in bulk
- they buy from sources in Central America or overseas through Central America
- at the time surplus M16s came in from sources which collected stocks left behind by the US in VN. These were preferred rather than AKs since the Mexican army has adopted the Fire Serpent in 5.56mm. AKs are used of course, but why bother since;
- foot soldiers of the cartels are often disgruntled regular army deserters who bring their rifles with them.
- Mexico aids and abets human and weapons trafficking across their and our southern borders.

Screw them.

McDonalds got sued for hot coffee, remember?
Yes they did and the woman that sued them got 3rd degree burns as a result of hot coffee.
  • Third degree burn: These burns completely damage the skin, including hair follicles and sweat glands. They may also damage the underlying tissue and always require a skin graft.
I'm really not a fan of law suet's, yet coffee hot enough to require skin grafts.....:unsure:
