Gun Range Day... 50 yrd testing...

50-yard test day… pretty damn good considering they are all close-range weapons. Damn it was hot as balls out there today, Florida. DD PDW, Springfield Kuna, and Dan Wesson 1911 .45 cal.

I was just curious, been firing these 3 weapons at under 25 at the local indoor range. Wanted to test them all at a little more distance. I figured 50 yrds should be the max, anything longer I'd assume I'd have time to grab my AR15 from the car or home. But now I am wondering about 100 yrds, maybe next week.

Are those 2 MOA dots? Do they completely cover that bullseye at 50 yards? I have a couple of dots for a couple of my rifles and I'm just wondering what to expect once I get them installed. Thanks.

Thanks, ya... Green 2 MOA Dot & 65 MOA Circle.

And no, I can't see the green dot to put it on at that distance, what I do is just make sure the circle is in the red center mass area. And it works.

Indiana use to require a stage at the 50 yard line 50 rounds total and or 12 rounds stage at the 50. They dropped the 50 yard stage and 25 was the longest stage and went from 60 rounds to 48 around 1998 but my agency kept it. Not sure how long as I went to the Feds in 2000. They revamped the course and got away from 6 shoot revolver neutral (it’s now 2 5 round magazines at each stage IKR)

And 50 rounds sort of a joke now!
