Harrison Ford’s blaster from 'Star Wars: A New Hope' sets Guinness World Record at auction

Han Solo's original blaster, which was used by Harrison Ford in "Star Wars: A New Hope," set a world record when it was sold for over $1 million.

Anybody that can afford that much for a movie prop probably put that gun in a safe deposit box and they'll sell it in three or four years for 25% profit.

Just over the border from me in Virginia is Big Dog Outfitters. They have a gun smith that created a replica of the Han Solo Blaster, looked just like the prop. He built around a WWI Mauser which is what the prop started as well.

Big Dog Outfitters makes a killing selling high capacity magazines to Marylanders. Its perfectly legal to buy high capacity magazines out of state and bring them back with you, but you can't but them in state to include online to be delivered to you in state.
