Heatseeker: The Tightest Group of My Life

The Carbon fiber drives the cost up but also reduces weight.
My two are pretty heavy, my Christensen arms has a carbon barrel but it is only a 22 magnum.

Have a Remington 700 Varmit in .308 Winchester in a old JP Enterprises AMCS chassis. Had the barrel cut from 26" to 22.5" and mounted a Vortex flash hider. Tried a muzzle brake, but the blast was blowing things off the bench. Can't afford a suppressor, and don't want to cut the barrel shorter than it is. Federal Gold Medal 168 gr reliably shoots under .75 MOA with some under .5 MOA. Even milsurp does 1.5 MOA. It is heavy enough that recoil is nothing, but I am in need of a gun bearer if I were to take in afield.

My long distance calling card has a wooden stock, a 1986 action and trigger assy.
Im sure I can hang with these new fanged shootin sticks, just not into the cost.
But then Im still shooting A-Max.

Funny thing is I just saw this vid on you tube and sent it to a few friends.
