Hellcat Magazine

I just picked up a new Hellcat and notice that the magazine springs are extremely stiff, as in almost impossible to load by hand. My dad noticed it too. Am I the only one or have others found the same thing? Do I have a bad set of springs?

Disclaimer: I did purchase and install Magblocks to make them California compliant at 10 rounds but these fit under the follower but they were this tight before the follower. They look very similar to my dad XD but are 4 or 5 times stiffer.

Otherwise, I love this gun!

They are very tight by nature. However they do loosen up with use. Mine took probably about 5 or 6 times reloading.

Keep shooting it TWoody, KLGunner is right. Mine loosened up after about 700 rounds. Enjoy!

Probably similar to the Sig P365 which I broke two cheap reloaders on before I bought a Uplula. BTW I am convinced Sig bought stock in the Uplula before they released the P365.

I did buy the Uplula and it definitely helps!

Also, if you want, loaded them up and let them sit for a few days, this may help to loosen them up some.

They are loaded as of yesterday, as soon as the Uplula arrived
