Hellcat rear sight

I have a new Hellcat. I've shot about 400 rounds through it. I've decided I really don't like the U notch rear sight. I prefer the three dot arrangement that I have on my Glocks and my Shield and my XDm. I ordered a sight from Ameriglo. I attempted to tap out the U notch sight with a wood dowel and a brass punch as I have done many times on Glocks. The sight will not budge. Has anyone attempted this on this pistol? If so what did you do to move that sight?

Purchase and use a good quality 'Sight Press'. It will make the job much easier and much less apt to cause damage to the gun. I think I've seen comments about the Hellcat sight being a little tighter than some. But that is potentially a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
