Since this thread has gone to hades, i'm gonna help it along. They just made me a moderator and the next one that says anything bad about a Hy Point will be thrown on the Banned wagon headed outta here.

I don’t think a Hy Point is legal in Illinois (which is fine by me). One pistol I haven’t tried lately is a SCCY. Mines well add cheap guns to this list.

In an abundance of caution, I have decided to ban the use of the Sig P320 in threads and posts following in step with others including the Air Force, Gunsite and others. Out of safety for our members posts, we can not have a Sig 320 go off on its own shooting others posts and or threads. Thank you for your participation, memes welcome.

To all who own or did own a Seg P320 (likely myself). Log in to BH Springs, and they have a detailed video by one of the owners, Mark, who explains, to my complete satisfaction, the drop safety issue and how they successfully resolved it.
