Small ones under 50lbs are good. Large hogs get a musty, foul flavor to them. Big boars are disgusting.
Wont bother with anything big. A football size piglet is pretty tender

I got charged on my first Boar hunt. My buddy missed and it decided to charge ME..It may have been that he was younger and faster than me... I was using a T/C Contender in 44mag. I hit it at five feet like the Hand of God it slid up to my feet. Ive been hooked ever since. I dont care if I ever hunt deer again. Short of hunting dangerous game in Afrika, nothing calls me like Wild Boar... OK maybe a big Brown Bear
