i own many older springfield 1911s all are great guns but about two weeks ago i bought a ss garison 9mm it was so loose it sounded like maracas when i shook it worse than a rock island or tisas so i called customer service got an rma sent it in in the end they sent me a new pistol i thought cool the loose one must have been a fluke but when the new one arrived it was only slightly better so im not to happy what has happened at springfield in the past two years that they are putting out junk i could have spent half of what i did and bought a ria and had a better pistol what gives? anyone know im afraid they are going the way of kimber and sig DOWN HILL any one else been seeing this or is it just me

cant i sent it back to springfield they sent me a new pistol that i put in my machine vise and tightened it up the first one was crazy loose the one they replaced it with was better but still quit loose the frame to slide fit is the problem just wondering if s.a. is putting out poorly fit guns on a regular basis since the last good one i bough about two years ago kinda bummed out im used to getting dam nice pistols for a fair price but the last two have been a big diapointment
