- Multiculturalism: Discouraging assimilation and emphasizing cultural differences, which he argued would create a fractured and disunified society.
- Encouraging dependency: Expanding entitlements and encouraging citizens to depend on the government, thereby eroding personal responsibility.
- Excessive political correctness: Making it difficult to engage in honest discussions about the nation's problems.
- Fiscal irresponsibility: Driving the country into massive debt.
- Ignoring economic limits: Promoting an unsustainable "no limits" mentality.
- Failure of education: Allowing educational standards to slip.
- Open borders: Opening the borders to mass immigration while refusing to assimilate newcomers.
- Undermining institutions: Allowing core institutions, such as the family, to weaken.
