i have had E-N-O-U-G-H...!!!!!!!!!

the God damned USPS that WE ALL LOVE to gripe about, has done it for the last time.....!!!!

i have an online pharmacy (Walgreen's Prime) that i get 3 medications from.

they cost ZERO, but so does my local chain supermarket.....

but these 3, at the time, way back when, i chose to use online, "just in case" my benefits provider removed the local pharmacy.

anyway...i was "supposed" to get 1 medication TODAY via USPS.....

it "got delivered" to the turnkey location, downtown...on saturday....from there, it was "'supposed" to be delivered to my neighborhood office, for delivery to me.......TODAY

but NOOOoooooooooo................

the turnkey location, downtown from me, like about 3 miles away.....

those bastoidavitches.......shipped MY MEDICINES........

to CAPE COD.............over 2 hours away....!!!!!!!!

like WTF.....?????

good thing it was not a "nitro" pill..........i could be DEAD, by the time it arrives...

so......i went to my local pharmacy, and gave them those meds to "steal away", from the online pharmacy....

now, due to the USPS F-UP...........

that online pharmacy loses a customer.

damned USPS....A-HOLES
Don't hold back.....

If i mail something to a in town address it goes to El Paso Tx then back here. Takes a couple of days. No wonder they are losing money and they can't see it!

Mine goes through St. Louis than back. I’ve had packages leave there than show back up there a couple of times as other packages pass that on coming to my house. I remember going to the post office and asking about it and she looked at it in wonder herself.

FedEx comes out of Rock Island and travels over an hour to drop stuff at my house.

UPS is in my town and I’m usually one of the first drop offs.

if i WERE to tell you how i REALLY feel..???

i'd be put on a speed boat from Venezuela

soooo....i dun't tink so..........
I got an e-mail saying my drugs have been delayed due to unforeseen shipping issues and to expect some parcels to have an odor of salt water, which they assured me would not affect the drugs' potency, but as long as I remain calm my blood pressure should be fine.

Military wanted me to do mail order for meds. I have refused. I go on base and get them and trust me there is a lot of bs on the base but at least i can bitch a person out if something goes wrong. After the last time I had to "talk" to them they have not messed up my perscriptions. I was told I wasn't a nice person---I laughed at them.
Exactly -- Express Scripts sends me snail-mail monthly telling me "IT'S FREE" -- like I want USPS to either put it in the wrong box, take forever to deliver it, or let it sit in an oven (mailbox) -- further, my doctor said heat would affect the drugs.

Wish I had a military facility closer to me -- what little I out-of-pocket pay for 90-day refill is far less than fuel to travel to one. BUT you can't have a firearm in your vehicle, CCW, so travel 1 ½ hours unarmed one way and 1 ½ home don't play with me.

Read on the intraweb yesterday that Amazon is in talks to stop using USPS -- wonder why.

I buy most everything locally. Helps that I am in the same town as MidwayUSA so I can use the pickup option there so no shipping charges on even heavy items like ammo. I use the mail twice a year to mail the two checks a year I write...one to the Homeowners Association and one to the Rifle and Pistol Club. So far no complaints!

See we are not ALL old grumpy malcontents. While old at 60 when I retired 9 years ago I have been cheerful pretty much ever since.

The US Postal Service is certainly less than reliable. The small business I work for mails out about 10 invoices a day. About 20% are not delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and a significant number are not delivered at all.

As a test, I mailed a letter from our office in Denton (one of the north central suburbs of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metromess) to Arlington (a near southeastern suburb of Fort Worth). The trip took 11 days for a #10 envelope with proper addressing and postage to make about 45 miles.

We have also almost stopped mailing checks for expenses. As much as possible, we pay online, and when it is not possible, we send the check in a generic #10 envelope rather than the return envelope the vendor provides so that they draw less attention than a clearly recognizable check in the mail.

It might not be a bad idea to contract out mail delivery. I am sure Amazon could love to bid on that contract.

(not as important as meds)
Holster coming from Lehi UT to Tempe, AZ (Phoenix metro area)
Dec 3rd - accepted by USPS Lehi
Dec 4th - Arrived at Salt Lake Distribution Center
Dec 6th - Arrived Phoenix Distribution Center and then, "in transit to next facility"
Dec 7th - Departed Salt Lake Distribution Center ???
DEc 8th - Departed Phoenix Distribution Center.......Arrived Tempe.......and finally "out for delivery" (today)

They had it in Phoenix and then shipped it back to UT, then back to Phoenix?????
Had this happen to me. It flew over top of me 2x. Kansas to indy, Indy to Pennsylvania back to indy, then Cincinnati up to Columbus Ohio, finally delivered to me 50 miles north of Columbus

My meds come from the Veterans Administration. Only option we have anymore is by mail.
I can go to the local VA pharmacy, but they'll only give a 10 supply to hold you over until your mail order meds get to you.

well, i went ahead and removed my credit card info from the online walgreens, and i shut down any new meds fillings.

i DO realize that i am punishing the wrong people by doing this, BUT if they do not give me a choice of shippers, then it was a great choice on my part.

as it was, the meds i got from them, were ZERO co-pay, but they needed my credit card info, for any meds that might have a co-pay in the future.

it just irritates me to no end, that some companies may offer "free" shipping, but hold you to thier preference to the shipper involved.

we should always have a choice of shipper(s) and let US decide what shipping charges we WANT to pay, and who we WANT as the shipper.

if the USPS can go anywhere for a pick up, then so can fedex, and UPS, (even DHL) as all roads lead to the same places.
