What time of day?
No trespassing signs?
How did the solicitor look?
How did he knock?
Any crimes in the area?
More importantly THREE shots and the guy survived? What was he shooting and when did he last go to the range?

While there is more to it than what’s in a couple paragraph news article it seems the shooter is going to have a hard road proving he acted “reasonable”
He or anyone can be wrong just that he (or anyone) in that spot just has to show a Prosecutor or jury he acted as a “reasonable” person but people don’t like to hear that little fact.
Also another example to not shoot people up over stupid poop it’s gonna be a bad few months where someone else gets to decide if you are or are not a felon from then on out!
