the SS Minnow was way too small for life boats..the most it would have had, would be at least 1 life jacket for each passenger/crew member, and maybe at least 1 life preserver.

however, the Lusitania, the Titanic, the Andrea Doria, and nearly any US Navy battleship would have had life boats..
