Ice discontinues use of Sig 320

To add to this, the mythic P320 UD has been subjected to examination by armourers, tests were conducted, and reports were written. Lawyers who have been going after SIG for years have preferentially sought out and engaged with every individual who suffered injury or other damage as a result of an alleged UD with a P320. Their experts have examined these pistols, documented their findings, conducted tests, and wrote their reports.
No one, not one of these folks, has even once found a
demonstrable, plausible defect or condition which resulted in any P320 firing without a trigger pull.
Not the FBI, not plaintiff's experts, nor department & agency armourers, nor independent engineers and gunsmiths, nobody at any SIG competitor, nor any of the paid social media hacks and influencers. No one, ever.
The P320 does not fire unless the trigger is pulled.
I’m tired of the clueless social media bs bandwagon slander

I believe the issue (that most fail to talk about) is while yes nobody is going to out a wood screw in a trigger the 320 seems to not need much trigger movement to release the internal safety mechanisms.

Ad Ernest Langdon said (in general not specifically) the community wants super easy to shoot firearms and the manufacturers are giving everyone that exact thing.

While Gkick had the short lived Glock leg we learned not to start the trigger pull until they were in target as Glocks were less forgiving than what we used to get away with in DA revolvers or DA/SA autos

Also factor in Glocks and M&Ps and etc are not on camera barely getting bumped and discharging.

So thwre are lots of questions by a lot of folks

That said since we haven’t had any humor for a while here you go!

From Grock because Im lazy

Yes, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has discontinued the use of the Sig Sauer P320 as its service handgun, with plans to transition to the Glock 19 MOS with Trijicon RMR HD optics. This decision was reported on July 9, 2025, amid concerns about the P320’s safety, particularly its potential for unintentional discharges. Posts on X indicate that ICE finalized this switch, choosing the Glock 19 MOS over the Glock 45 MOS, following a pattern seen in other agencies like the Milwaukee Police Department and the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission, which also phased out the P320 due to similar safety issues. However, these claims should be treated as inconclusive without official confirmation from ICE, as no direct statement from the agency is provided in the available information.
They found clubs and fists more effective?
