IDPA website hurts my head.

I am restarting looking at doing matches again. The only reason I put it on hold was that work got in the way (doing 68 hours a week for 9 months). I know there’s 2 groups out there and started looking into IDPA and instantly started getting frustrated. My location along I-80 in Illinois doesn’t help either. All the “good” ranges are minimum 45 minutes away to ask. Yes I been asked to join at 2 ranges to do matches but my work schedule (2 shift bites).

My question is. Any matches held on weekends? Is IDPA worth it?

IDPA is pretty good training and practice in gun handling and combat marksmanship. All shooting is good for building skills. But IDPA is too much of a foot race for this old codger.
