well here in RI, we have to keep out guns locked up as well.

i store mine in a metal tool cabinet, with the factory locks.

hey you know what..??

once someone gets into our home, garage, workshop, where ever, whatever, they got time to do damage and get those guns...and NO...not everyone can afford a safe that weighs like 1,000 pounds, or has a place to put one.

in fact, if i were to get such a huge gun safe, i can assure you that this neighborhood... has "roving walking eyes", and that would be as bad as pro-gun stickers, or NRA stickers, or a Glock sticker on the window of my car........its called advertising.

While we have no law on gun storage, I keep my house gun secured in a Hornady Night Guard rapid safe on nightstand, even though we have no kids…..
