WOW! Need to put on my reading glasses before I read the title. I thought the title was in today's mail from the FCC. My first thought was what to hell are they up to, and what do they want to ban.

Got mine several weeks ago. In my case I don't need a reminder, as I get 4-5 emails from them per week asking for $$$. Even when I donated to them to renew my membership, a few hours later there was an email asking for a donation .
I don't think a donation to FPC is tax deductible, but a donation to Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), who work closely with FPC on 2A court cases, is Tax deductible. Even though I'm a life member of SAF, I just recently gave a donation to them as well.
