Indoor Gun Range Fees

The range I shoot at in Corpus Christi normally charges $15 for a lane for one hour. If they are not busy, they will let you shoot longer than the one hour for the same $15. Myself, I pay $7.50 for a lane. That's for LE, First Responders, Active Duty/Retired military, and disabled veterans. I always go during the slow time, as in during the work week when they first open up. The majority of the time, I'm the only one in there at those times.

I have a membership of 25 a month at my range. I don’t do much else besides shoot there because the prices are a tad high (100 bucks for an FFL transfers). I can bring a guest for 8 bucks to shoot. They don’t even hassle me on the time when I’m there.

I do miss my old range when I was a member. I could go at anytime I wanted too. A few early mornings or late nights after changing jobs was nice.

where i go, its $25 per hour for 1 lane

2 shooters, $35 for those 2 shooters for 1 lane

otherwise, want 1 lane for yourself...?? then you rent that 1 lane, and your spouse, buddy, whatever...pays for thier own lane.

at the public range (above) that i go to, i am a member so i get my lane for $0.......and can go 5 days a week, from 10 AM, till 2 PM...those hours actually work very well for me.

at my club, where i am a member there, i can go 24/7/365

club memberships pricing, vary and may or may not have hours restrictions, but most certainly always DO HAVE rules.

as a public range would have rules as well.

also, at most public ranges that offer memberships, there are levels/prices for whatever fits your needs.

that's been my deal as well...being retired, no one is really at the ranges during the week, except for other retiree's

i feel too that the working man/woman have thier weekends and holidays off, so i leave them to have thier fun/practice.

Wow, Y'all really make me appreciate my local club.
Time to renew
I pay $60 a year. I have a key card to come and go as I please, between 8AM and 10PM.
We bring our own ammo and the club supplies the targets.
It's $3 if you want to shoot, but it's unlimited for that day. You can even go shoot in the morning, leave, come back and shoot some more.

Or, for $150/year, you can shoot unlimited all year with no fee for the day.
I just don't go enough to make that worth it

I am new to shooting indoors, anyway real soon. In your all's areas what is the cost for shooting on the range per person??? For ladies night its $30.00 but for members of said gun range $45.00 and non members $75.00, is this average in your areas too, or is this high in comparison??? Please advise....
That seems pretty high. I think for our two primary local indoor facilities, I could get a membership for that money. If I went once a month it would pay for itself. From the newer of the two ranges:
Cost: $125/year then $40/month
Includes:
  • Unlimited use of 15 and 25 yard lanes
  • $10 for use of the 100 yard lanes
  • $10 Members only events
  • $5 Standard firearm rentals
  • Lane reservations (fee may occur)
  • 5% Ammo discount
  • 2 Guest passes (additional passes can be purchased at discounted rate)
  • Event space discounts
  • Members Only Hours on Saturday and Sunday
I can kick it up from there to a $400 one-time initiation fee, and improve on the above features (still only $40 a month).
