Is the 1911 the Ideal Woods Gun?

I am not any kind of fanboy, but in this particular case I carry my Gen 5 G20 MOS with a Green dot Holosun... love that 10mm punch. While I prefer my Sig P320 X10, if I fall into mud and am covered in clay and it is raining during the apocalypse, that dang Glock will still fire. Heck, just wee on it to rinse it and go...
I would be glad to help with rinsing your Glock if it falls in the mud...😁

You can pee on my Glock anytime!

This is just weird now... Don't pee on my Sig cause it will rust.
Interesting fact...Hy-Point owners drink their own urine. So, Glock owners shouldn't ask them to wiz on their pistols.

The last bear I killed was a little black bear with a bad attitude shot with one 357 round from an SP101. It could have killed one of the grizzlies we have around here in the 400-600 pound range.

It's not the calibre that makes the difference, it is the steel and brass in the shooter.

In my experience, if the bear charges from the brush you'll be damned lucky to clear gun leather much less get a controlled shot. But you must find a way to get it done. One shot; two if you're lucky.

"
45 ACP and Enforcer" refers to the popular .45 ACP pistol cartridge often loaded with Ramshot Enforcer gunpowder for faster, high-performance rounds, in a specific handgun like the Nighthawk Enforcer (a 1911-style pistol chambered in .45 ACP). The .45 ACP is a classic, powerful round, and using Enforcer powder allows reloaders to achieve impressive velocities (over 1000 FPS with 230-grain bullets) while keeping pressures safe, making it ideal for self-defense and target shooting. Additionally, competes rather effectively with the ‘almighty 10mm.’
