Hell yeah, they had to use artillery and other exploding munitions to stop him. That's a lotta overkill for JUST ONE little snipy boi. Even then, they couldn't kill him!! He got a solid 50+ years more life than 542 commies. Hell, he's probably the one who inspired Rafał Gan-Ganowicz to be such a fervent commie-fighter!
And don't forget that other Finn, who wanted to kill commies so much he joined 3 different armies to do it. Lauri Allan Törni, aka Larry Thorne, one seriously bad@$$ Green Beret. He was an officer in all militaries.
