Thanks, you know, I didn't really need bad news, my day was going just fine until you mentioned this, now my entire day, probably week, will be a spiral of depressed mood swings full of regret and dissatisfaction knowing I could have returned it if I hadn't mounted it, now I'm think of my first wife!

I have the Strike Industries that came with it. It really isn’t THAT hard to fold. Once you get used to where to place your hand and thumb, then lift with your fingers, it pops right up and folds. I’ve also noticed that it takes less effort to extend as you use it more. Personally, I like it. I like the minimalist looks of it and it doesn’t bother me to shoot. Guess it’s all personal preference. If it wasn’t a hassle to SBR, I’d probably get something very similar but maybe with a little more padding on the shoulder contact point. But I’m pretty happy with mine.
