Is there a way to reduce the slip between the upper and lower? I don’t like picking it up and the halves rattle around. It’s like an old ar15 design fault.

is the Kuna 9mm still going to be available or have imports stopped due to tariffs?

I don't know. But I'm hoping they pair it with a pistol called the Matata.

If I pick it up by the handle the top will rattle back and forth. When I get back home I’ll see if I can upload a video. It’s like a car with 300k miles but it’s brand new. Maybe 30 rounds thru it.

Yep, gotta see that too. I just got back from another 150 or so down rang testing sub sonic ammo.. zero slop in mine.
Between 600 and 700 rounds, majority supressed.

That’s really, really tough to tell anything…in being honest. If you grab the grip in one hand, upper in another, can you physically move/rock the upper?
Are both take down pins all the way in?

If yes on both, submit an RMA with Springfield. But from that video…it really doesn’t “Show” anything, just audible.

Are you sure it’s not the pistol grip compartment cover? That does tend to rattle a little. Take the cover off and shake it. See if the rattle is still there.

Ok, that rattle is most likely your stock. i just tested mine with it on and off. it rattles with it on and don't when it's off. if you can't move your upper and lower with your hands that's not it. take that stock off and try it.

I got an email response from Springfield. “

My technician said that all Kuna models do have a slight bit of play in them like your video showed. There is no way to tighten it.”

The technician lied, mine don't. with that said that will not affect the performance of the gun.

I sent it and just got a mail that said they replaced the lower.

The only video I've seen showing anything bad about the Kuna is that there is apparently a space large enough inside the receiver that "could" allow a fired casing or an entire unfired round to fall into the trigger group area. It can get stuck in there and rattle around until you dig it out. This seems a rare occurrence, but the vid showed it happening on camera (when the guy was trying to force it to occur). take a look in your lower when you separate from the upper and see if you got a casing rattling around in or near the trigger group...

Some have had the extractor fly out of it and many have busted mags. i have the busted mags. Between the Kuna and Saint victor short pistol. i'm goin with the Saint Victor, no proprietary stuff and mags are metal and cheaper than the Kuna mags.
