A guy I know had one, on a binary triggered lower, it was something, but in our group, he was the only one who could afford the thing, and by that I mean, the cost of the upper, and the ammo to feed it.

That being said, he is a LOUSY shot, and a MAJOR ammo consumer
 
A few I have, 1 was gifted from family, other 2 I built. Stainless barreled one is an older dome in .223, other two regular 5.56.

BTW the words "Tactical Light" is like Military Intelligence, or jumbo shrimp.

I think they did it for a reason.

I see them lights, Ill hit it from 3/4 a mile away.
I get what you're saying. However, I guess you've never had to clear a darkened building with a bandit (or bandits) inside? Target ID is a must. Lights are tools. You use them when you need them.
