Looking for Holster Help - TRP CC AOS

So today I finally ordered a TRP CC AOS (in coyote brown and .45). In searching around the known leather holster makers, having a really hard time finding this model listed on maker’s gun lists. I know it won’t fit my Emissary holster (square trigger guard).

So a few questions.

1. Will this fit in any standard 1911 4.25 holster made for gun with rail?
2. Will this fit a holster made for a 4.25 Operator with rail (found that option on a makers gun list)?
3. Anybody currently using this gun in a leather holster they’d recommend?
4. Why does it seem like every gun I buy, it’s a giant PITA to find a decent leather holster?

P.s. I’d prefer to avoid the 40 week Milt Sparks wait, though I am a big fan of the Criterion (and I think I’d just be back to question 1 above).

I was going to tell you the operator version would be your best bet, but depends on how high the holster wraps around the ejection port, you might run into the red dot.

I ordered one from Blackpoint Tactical for my TRP CC with light and Holisun 507c mounted. They will cut it to length and to fit your optic. It took a couple weeks to get it but fits perfectly and carries well. Also Tucker Ginleather will make one to fit. Havevyou checked the Springfield Armory store they do have some holsters listed

Any railed 4.25 1911 holster should work. Just give the respective holster maker a call.

Falco holsters. I have some weird combinations for handguns. Personally happy with the first one that fit my G23.5 with a streamlight TLR-1 HL that I started getting other ones for my other stuff.

If you mount an optic that may not fit. I have had to make modifications for an optic. Most makers now will accomodate optics if specified, like you said give them a call.

You’re right. All the holster makers I buy from have a red dot pull down as part of the configuration process.

Thanks. That’s what TTGunleather has you do, specify your optic in order notes or they build it without optic fit (with fair warning). He’s the one with the AOS Operator 4.25 on his list, so I’m leaning into trying him. Plus I’ve ordered about half a dozen holster from him over the years and always top shelf!

Worst case scenario, it doesn't work and I’ll just HAVE TO order an Operator 4.25 AOS !
