I have a Shield M2.0 in 9. Swapped out the 3 dot sights for night sights and put in a Apex spring kit. Find myself carrying it more now. Like my XDS Mod 2 better though.

That’s actually a good way to buy... I also have my “48 hr rule”: any temptations more than $300 requires me to wait a self imposed 48 hrs.

You have great self discipline. I may have to use that trick. 48 hours is prob 24, or 40 hours longer than I can handle...

Honestly I don't see much difference between the 1.0 and the 2.0. My Shield .40 is a PC and the trigger is actually slightly less gritty than the 2.0 trigger on my .45. In any case the triggers aren't anything to get excited about, but personally for a carry gun I find them perfectly fine and have no plans to mess with them. And the Apex kits for the Shield are way overhyped in my opinion. My buddy has one and the difference is minimal if anything.

I have actually been looking closer at the xd-m elite compact. That way if I do not like the grip length I can change it.
