It peaked my interest due to it being a double stack in 45 and 10. Maybe the brand is a waste of time, but the prices aren't to bad. 1911's aren't my thing because grip angle, but no grip safety has me on the want to buy list?

That’s a great price. The first Witness 2311s were pretty problematic. They seem to have worked their kinks out. I like the look of this gun, but I’d have to see some reviews before I plonked my money down.

I'm with the wanting to getting my hands and eyes on a firearm (well most) also before I buy. Just like the Beretta when being in okc. I don't like it when the grip angle is described as a 1911 like the m&p which isn't true or i wouldn't own any.

Went to their site and the optic cut is RMSC, which I’m not a fan of. Also, not crazy about RTFM engraved in the dust over.

No worries there. Kimber has just brought a comped version of the 2K11 Target and Pro and I’m just awaiting to see what additional colors they offer.
