Maybe good and maybe not

It peaked my interest due to it being a double stack in 45 and 10. Maybe the brand is a waste of time, but the prices aren't to bad. 1911's aren't my thing because grip angle, but no grip safety has me on the want to buy list?

That’s a great price. The first Witness 2311s were pretty problematic. They seem to have worked their kinks out. I like the look of this gun, but I’d have to see some reviews before I plonked my money down.

To date all the 2011 (doublecstacker’s) have felt “fat” in my admittedly medium size paw. I’ve shot ‘em but I like a straight 1911 better. For a 9 mm 1911 I use an EMP-scaled just right for 9. If it’s full size it’ll be .45, 10mm, or at least .38 Super. (But then I don’t like 9 mm AR’s. If I’m packing the size and weight I want a powerful round to go with it,

Their solution is the removal of ghe grip safety to slim it down, but not sure about the mainspring?

I find the width the issue-grip safety for me is not the problem-fat grip is the issue. The grip safety is flush when you hold the pistol in a firing position
i haven't held a or any double stack 1911's, so i wouldn't know let alone this particular firearm. a single stack 45acp 1911 i did have for awhile, but that pistol wasn't meant for me.
