While the SA-35 comes with 15-round magazine (Mec-Gar) these have been available for quite awhile, and 13 rd mags are perfectly useable. This S.A. Camp article describes the differences between the two.

I have some mecgar and pro mag magazines coming to do some experiments with. I even have a 10 rnd 40 mag coming to convert to a hicap 9mm mag. Also ordered a drum mag and a 32 rounder from the distributors. Unfortunately the native 15rnd ones are out of stock from the distributors. My goal is to add capacity to the 13rnd mag, convert the 40 mag, and test reliability with crazy mags. May even try to have new followers 3d printed……hmmmm the possibilities.

I have had a BHP since early 90’s. The mec gar mags i got to replace the originals a few years ago work fantastic. Same withe my Sig 228 mec gar mags
