The Doctor at the VA studied at the Cordon Bleu before attending medical school. The poor man confused a spatula with a speculum, and his female patients haven't been the same since!

The VA treats me fairly well. Last week, the bridge of my glasses frame broke. I had to drive to the VA Hospital atop "pill hill" in South Portland, OR. After signing in and chatting with a few older Vets, the optician called me in and replaced the frames within 7 minutes, tops.Sounds like the VA. I heard horror stories and better stories. I guess it all depends on where you go.

I love to joke about the service at the VA Hospital. As an old sailor, I can get by with it.
