The VA treats me fairly well. Last week, the bridge of my glasses frame broke. I had to drive to the VA Hospital atop "pill hill" in South Portland, OR. After signing in and chatting with a few older Vets, the optician called me in and replaced the frames within 7 minutes, tops.

I love to joke about the service at the VA Hospital. As an old sailor, I can get by with it.

I can’t go but with the number of friends I have that are “department of the navy” I have. I hear the stories. There’s one thing that sticks in my head but times have changed since the 70’s.

Her's one more thing to upset Mods. What pisses me off that a US Veteran is forced to see a doctor that can hardly speak english! Shame on our crooked system!! Yeah, thanks for your service! What a bunch of BS.

I laugh and cry at what we all had/have to deal with. May God bless us all. To this day, I hurt from some things that happened during my enlistment. And I enlisted on July 19th, 1973.

Well at least its a doctor, these days with most of the kids are getting schooled on America bad Socialism good so why bother spending daddy's money and their time becoming a medical doctor when they can more easily get a PHD in Interpretive Dance or Gender Pyschology.

My degree is in Speech Communication with a minor in Sociology and two years of Post Baccalaureate study in History and the Administration of Justice.

welcome to "my world" and the "no explanation for the deletion, cuz we wanna keep it a secret, as to who did it, or why....."...just the standard..."inappropriate content"..and even then....which thread was it...??? what was the "inappropriate content"..???

nearly ALL OF US post several times a day, in the many threads/forums...>!!!


GIVE US A CLUE......

then if you get a "few days off" of being here, you cannot contact anyone to get that reason..this place has NO WAY of communications between the banned or "timed out" poster(s) and the mods/admins.
