Multiple questions gun grip screws, grommets, and locktite

What is the best business to purchase gun grip screws and grommets from??? Which locktite is recommended for the gun grip screws??? Anything you guys and gals tell me will be greatly appreciated as I have a P-89 Ruger 9mm that never had this similar problem. Thank you for your opinions...
i get my grip screws for my 1911's from here:

i believe i got my rubber "O" rings from Brownells.

i never bought grip screws for any thing else....so i am not certain these 1911 screws will work for you

with the power of a 1911, my screws stay put. using the rubber "O" rings..

NO Loctite

I have a Ruger P90. It is the exact same design except the P90 is .45. I have put 100's of rounds through it and never experienced the grip screws loosening up. I'm with Old_Me on the No Locktite.

Numrich, Ruger, Midwest Gun Works, and Old Arms of Idaho all sell parts for the Ruger P series.

Having recently had my first ever problem losing grip screws (on two different 1911s), I found this place.

I also picked up some thin line grip screws from.

I’m sure I paid more than stuff from Amazon, but I prefer to deal with folks who deal with 1911s.

I would recommend calling Ruger and they will most likely take care of you. A friend of mine called them in a last ditch effort to find a spring that holds the mag in his P-90 and Ruger had him send it to them to fix it. Not only did they replace the spring they also tuned up his well worn pistol and sent it back with 3 additional springs free of charge.

Otherwise check out

Lots is Good stuff mentioned. Unusual dab bkue loctite on Tw screws as well as all the screws in my homsters. I have found holster screws to give me fits if I don’t.

That said while all the rage is hex or Allen head grip screws I don’t like them because if you do have a loose issue it takes a Spexial took or time to get the tool out. With flat heads you can simply use a 45 or 9mm case to tighten on the spot

Lok includes screws with loctite and bushings. Sig and Hogue sell screws as well as others. Just like with my kydex holsters screws, I prefer blue loctite.
