My new SA-35 Review

Sorry to hear about this KF. Not only from your standpoint, but I just picked one up about a month ago. From hearing about your issue and others on this forum, it looks like I’m going to have similar issues too.
Yeah, its a bummer.
In the back of my mind I was hoping this would be the gun with no issues.
Around 700-800 rounds, I’d be on the “lookout”.
Didnt expect it at 75 😨

You can’t remember which shipping container it’s in?

It probably in here somewhere, last time @BET7 was in here, took him 3 days to find his way out......:D

Here is what disappoints me:

The Hi Power has been in circulation since 1935. Thus its name.
Many iterations over the decades from many companies.
Flaws in aesthetics, I can understand.
Flaws in function, I’m flabbergasted as there is modern CNC and quality control.
Leads me to believe the firearm was almost entirely made overseas with lack of QC and imported.

I have read that most of it, frames and slides are made by Tisas in Turkey

My M1A, AR’s and 1911’s are solid.
Sometimes companies get outside their niche for the stockholders sake.

I tried.

I’ll stick to what they know best.

Sometimes the Jone’s dont know 💩
Don't try to keep up
Let them fail and move away

You won my love for your AR’s and M1A. I’ve given them hell and back. Never failed. Under duress.

You lost me on your modern pistols.

Update:

The pistol came back in my hands today repaired from SA.
New extractor and spring according to the work order.

Ran 125 rounds thru it of norma 115 gr and Browning 124 gr and had …….

No issue 👍👍👍🕺🕺🕺🕺

Fired it side by side with my plain ol Sig P320 Carry. SA35 seemed a little more snappy than my 320, but the SA35 performed.
Took a box of ammo to break myself in after 3 weeks of no shooting, but we got there.

10 yard targets:
