New hunting rifle - Beretta BRX1

Hey everyone,

I’ve been doing some research lately on some straight-pull hunting rifles, and I keep coming back to the Beretta BRX1. I’m seriously considering picking one up for my next hunting setup, especially for versatility in different terrains and faster follow-up shots.

From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like a pretty good rifle, modular design, quick barrel changes, and that straight-pull action seems like a big advantage in the field. I also like that it’s fully ambidextrous, which is a nice touch.

I came across this page while researching and they were helpful: https://fortisgunsupply.com/product/beretta-brx1-bolt-action/

Will really appreciate some insights from previous/current owners such as how does it perform, is is smooth and reliable as advertised and what are some downsides I should know before spending a couple on it.

Thanks in advance!

the last thing I would look at for a hunting rifle is Beretta.

Tons of reliable, quality, great manufacturers over Beretta for hunting rifles. Even other Euro brands.

If I was going to buy a “forever” bolt action rifle to use the rest of my days spent hunting I’d splurge and buy a Sako!
