S&W got a new and updated Shield - the X.

S&W is making the M&P line their signature lineup. Did see a couple of newish revolvers as well.

Turns out there isn't one around here locally yet. Probably not a bad thing really, because if I did find one...who knows?

I’ll most likely pick one up when they release a comp version. My Shield Plus Comp is my favorite EDC.
I always carry it with the 13 rounder, my XXL hands simply need the extension, that 10 rounder leaves my pinky hanging.

It would be nice, if S&W could work on slide weight and spring rate. While I have no problem, my wife hates shooting my Shield Plus as the spring rate is pretty stout.

I’ve tried several of the micro compacts..and nothing, to me, felt as solid as the Shield Plus.
