Anmihilator, your queueI’d like it to be about an inch or two shorter but I don’t want to give up that velocity.

Too spoooooky in blackawesome, lots better than black.
I have a similar set up. I went with a 10.5” though for ballistic reasons. And a Sylvan Arms folder.

I have been obsessing over a 45acp Banshee for a couple weeks. Is it fussy about ammo? I see one in my future. Maybe I should lie down until the lust passes.
The linear comp helps with the noise, by pushing it down range, rather than back in the shooter's face.I was toying around with building an “other” in 556 but was concerned about the blast factor. I have an Ultradyne Athena (i believe) linear comp on an PSA AR i put together.
Anmihilator, your queue
Especially the scary onesI don't know why anyone needs an AR15.
I don't think the idea is to actually leave it in the truck all the time.Sorry guys, but I'm completely opposed to the entire concept of a "truck gun", "car gun" or any weapon permanently left in a vehicle. This ain't the 1960s when every pick-up had a gun rack in the back window. Vehicle burglary is one of the fastest growing crimes in the country. Even rural areas are no longer safe. Here in the Memphis area its reached epidemic proportions.
Yeah, I know, use something cheap so you won't lose much if stolen. But bear in mind that you've still provided a criminal with a working firearm.
Any time there's gun in my vehicle, so am I. And its usually attached to me so it leaves when I do.

I had a truck gun, as it were—a long gun kept out of sight behind the seat—for years.
In fact, I had two truck guns, come to think of it; I also kept a .22 H&R in a pocket of the seat cover.
This was as recently as 10-15 years ago…no problems with it.
