What, not being to get the checkbook to balance or the shutdown :) . I agree this reminded of children on the playground. The reality is they are elected adults and it is our lives. Not sure anyone caved maybe they simply decided to do what they were elected to do.

OH YES THEY DO! Just because their status was changed once they entered the country illegally matters not one wit. Come to Maine, and I'll bet Mass, Calf, NY, etc. No both parties were not to blame, it was a clean CR that had been voted for and passed before. Now if you want to blame both parties for not passing a complete budget (last completed its budget process as designed in 1996.) 29 YEARS AGO! I'm right there with you. Most all the good and necessary laws were passed 50-100+ years ago. What else do these SOBs have to do? :mad: :mad: :mad:

This. Pure and utter bullcrap. ALL those SOB’s need to be locked in the Capital (with zero access to the outside) if. A budget for the YEAR is not in place 15 days Prior to the end of the fiscal year and be kept there UNTIL there is a year’s budget IN Place! These dam-ed “continuing resolutions” should be illegal. If the American people had an idea how much money is pis—d away every time they pull this nonsense they’d voted for hanging theses “representatives” for malfeasance. Before WW 2congress worked like the state legislators-meet for a couple months to get a budget and complete their business and then go home. Should be that way NOW..😡

Yes the whole political system is run by rich elites that forgot who funds their life style. I hate getting political but I see double talking (and usually screaming) when these politicians blame the other side. Truthfully I say cut their funding and implement term limits.

I know both sides have their extreme side but when will we have our “republic” back. Yes I’m big into individual rights and not what the government tells us with a side order of over blown news.

Maybe not officially, but walk into any ER and you'll find the place full of illegals. Most states have laws forbidding ERs from turning away anybody. If you come in, they have to treat you. Many illegals treat the ER like its their local general practitioner. They go there for all types of minor non-emergency care. Everything from a common cold to a scraped knee. Thus making longer wait times for those in real need.
BTW: they can't pay either. So who pays for this? Taxpayers that's who. 🤬
